I read a review once that said the harley sportster vibrated more than the savage. A fairly negative review on the harley from another owner i met too. But, here is my complaint about the Savage - the engine is TOO SMALL and it is not a highway or long trip bike. The savage at 65 mph is screaming rpms. This is one bike that needs two more gears. So, its up to you on that point. Cal
